Delhi to set up grid stations

The Delhi government announced the setting up of new grid stations in the Capital to prevent power crisis during the summer even as the Centre pulled up the state government for its failure to initiate reforms in the power sector. The Delhi Power Minister, Dr Narendra Nath, said the DVB will add about 1350 MVA transformation capacity at different voltage levels by commissioning new grid stations to improve the power situation in the Capital before the onset of summer.
