The decks for restructuring the Delhi Vidyut Board appear to have been finally cleared with the Delhi state government deciding to take up privatisation of the distribution sector and the formation of a separate generating company. The move to recast the SEB, which has been already initiated by Orissa, Rajasthan and Haryana is now expected to be adopted by the Delhi government.
