Develop strategy to check cancer growth, WHO told

Worried over the growing incidence of cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs), the World Health Assembly, the highest governing body of WHO, has called upon the WHO and its member-countries to develop a strategy that could effectively tackle the problem. The call for the development of a strategy came in the form of a resolution at the end of the annual meeting of the WHA, which was held at Geneva recently.
