IATAFI : Developing countries which are in the process of participating in the global economy need to exercise their option for going in for nuclear energy alternatives rather than exploiting conventional fossil fuel sources of energy for sustainable development. "Downscaling to small size advanced reactors for developing countries and cities is particularly suited for mega-cities that are coming up the worldover," said Gilbert Eggermont, vice-president of International Associations of Technology Assessment and Forecasing Institutions (IATAFI) in an interview to The Financial Express.
