President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom said that the development of Hulhumale was a huge project that was linked to the country's future vision. The President made this statement in his address at the inauguration of the Hulhumale Exhibition at Dharubaaruge in Male. Gayoom said that the development of Hulhumale was an important part of the government's efforts to alleviate the shortage of housing in the Maldives.
