Flood situation in Dhemaji district of Assam continued to be serious affecting over 10 lakh people while the rest of the State was ironically under a dry spell.Official sources said today the situation in Dhemaji continued to remain serious as over 50 villages and huge areas of agricultural land were submerged disrupting rail and road communication in several parts of the district.
