The DJB will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Uttar Pradesh government to settle payment of arrears for supply of raw water to Bhagirathi water plant. The MoU would settle the dues of Rs 23 crore, due to which the UP government has been threatening to block water supply to Delhi . On Thursday, the UP irrigation department lowered the pressure for over an hour as a warning signal.
