In a change of stance, Dabhol Power Company of Friday urged the Maharashtra State Electricity Board to resume power offtake and also agreed to accept the board's under protest bills. DPC president Neil McCregor along with representatives of the multinational, both domestic and foreign lenders, met MSEB chief Vinay Bansal here on Friday and tried to persuade the board to commence drawing power from the $3-billion project's 740 mw phase-I, official sources told PTI today.
