Drinking water crisis hits Orissa

At least 32 towns across the state are already reeling under a drinking water crisis this summer. While the situation is expected to worsen,drinking water scarcity will be most acute in Titlagarh, Bolangir, Rourkela, Berhampur, Sambalpur, Bargarh and the two towns adjoining coal belt--Jharsuguda and Talcher, warns a joint report submitted by the state revenue department and the special relief commissioner.
