The Himachal Pradesh Government has prepared a plan to bring all habitations under the safe drinking programme within two years. About Rs 115 crore is being spent on providing drinking water to the people during the current year. Besides, Rs 49.19 crore is being spent under the accelerated rural water supply programme.
