The scheme making registration of airconditioners mandatory for consumers is reportedly heading for a withdrawal due to dissuasive opinions voiced against it and some "unanswerable questions" staring in the face of the Delhi Vidyut Board . Some of the questions are :How to determine, from the look of an airconditioners, its tonnage, what DVB will do in case a consumer says he or she has one but is not using it, wondered a senior DVB officials.
