The Delhi Vidyut Board has decided to install "dry transformer" instead of oil transformers in cinema halls and high-rise buildings where open spaces were not available. High-rise buildings in Nehru Place will be among the first when the change will be made. This is the first time dry transformers will be used in the Capital.
