The Delhi Power Minister, Dr Narendra Nath, today said the Delhi Vidyut Board would purchase power from the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board to augment its power supply this summer. Addressing a press conference, the minister further announced that the Delhi Electricity Control Order,1959, had been relaxed to enable consumers using illegal electricity connections to apply for authorised connections without having to pay misuse charges.
