DVB will introduce special lamps to cut down power consumption

An innovative Public Distribution System through the Delhi Vidyut Board and New Delhi Municipal Committee wil help residents of the city to save energy and adopt bulbs that would drastically cut consumption of power, by the year-end. The conventional 60 watt bulbs will be replaced by the energy saving 11 mw Compact Fluorescent lamps that would have 49 mw of power.
