The Diyung Valley Development Block, Maibang in Assam, has implemented Sampurna Gramin Rojgar Yojana, for the year 2003. Under SGRY first stream, some of the schemes have been completed at an expenditure of Rs 131.80 lakh including the value of rice, a press release said. The works implemented include 18 buildings, 53 ring wells, 8 bridges, 11.90 km road and footpath, 6.90 km stone stepping, 10.28 km minor irrigation, 32.5 hectare Horticulture, 10.20 hectare land development and land reclamation, 57 fishery, 12.9 hectare plantation, 8 playground and 3 miscellaneous activities. The works of SGRY second stream have been completed at an expenditure of Rs. 114.28 lakh.
