The National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG) has drawn up plans to broadbase the implementation of various e-governance projects across the country and is working on standardisation process. It has identified certain key areas of citizen services, land records and transportation applications that could be replicated for rapid deployment and is working on ICT (information, communication and technology) architectures for e-governance applications.
