The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (Ecnec), with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in the chair, approved 41 projects worth Rs 203 billion, including institutional strengthening and capacity building of Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA). Addressing a press conference, Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue, Dr Salman Shah, Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Dr Akram Sheikh, and Planning Commission Secretary Humayun Farshori said that the Ecnec had approved 32 new projects worth Rs 150 billion, and nine ongoing projects of Rs 53 billion.
