For all those who believe in saving money and yet do their bit for the environment in their own little way, this might be a chance to explore all the cost effective, eco-friendly and renewable energy and energy efficient options available. The Energy and Research Institute (TERI) has organised a special thematic exhibition at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon from April 28 to 30. The exhibition will feature live demonstrations of a walk-through model of an eco-friendly house. The house will have options like eco-friendly cement, lead-free and water-based paints and flooring tiles and roofing sheets made from 100% recycled material. This eco-friendly house is based on the Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) formulated by TERI which is also accepted by the ministry of new & renewable energy.
