The Pakistan government has opened negotiations with the provincial authorities and representatives of tribal belt to start oil and gas exploration activities in the restricted areas of Balochistan, sources have said. The government is keen on opening up the restricted areas for exploration as it feels that Balochistan has great potential in the oil and gas sector.
