With an eye on the June 8 elections in three tribal Assembly segments, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has set out on a sop-giving spree. Ranging from promises of new roads and crores for development to mid-day meals for the primary school children, these are being doled out by Virbhadra, who is on the second leg of his tour to the segments in the run-up to poll, ostensibly to woo the voters.
