Pakistan's Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf has said that the economic revival plan announced by his government in 1999 places prime importance on the rapid development of indigenous energy resources " as we believe this sector has the potential of reviving the economic fortunes of Pakistan." He was speaking as chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of Zamzama Gas Field (District Dadu) on Friday.
