U.S. energy group Enron corp. sent a strongly worded letter to India's Prime Minister, questioning the government's willingness to honor its contracts and its ability to attract foreign investment in the future. It also threatened to take legal action in pursuit of claims of up to US$5 billion relating to Enron's Dabhol Power Co. unit.
