Conscious of opposition from a section of the local people, Enron officials went out of their way to pander to local sentiments at the Dabhol power plant's inaugural programme on Tuesday. However about 500 people, including former high court judge B G Kolse Patil, staged a dharna near Anjanvel Phata and took out a morcha to voice their demands. Chief Minister Narayan Rane has invited them to Mumbai for a meeting next month.
