Enron Corp. said it may buy a coal substitute from Venezuela to burn in power plants in Asia and Africa, a purchase that could boost the fortunes of a fuel that has met still opposition in England and Florida. Feasibility studies for the use of the mixture of water and bitumen known as orimulsion are underway, Enron said. No timetable for taking a decision was given.
