The Public Undertakings Committee of the Maharashtra Legislature has severely rapped the State Government in its report for the controversial Enron project - Dabhol Power Corporation at Ghughar - and strongy recommended that while approving any large-scale foreign equity project, the Government should first ensure that it did not become a permanent burden on the people of the State.
