Environment-friendly power plant planned for China

China will build the world's largest environment-friendly power plant, one that will create no acid rain despite the fact that it will use poor-quality coal with high sulphur content. The two billion U.S. dollar plant, to be installed in the southwest China city of Neijiang in Sichuan Province, about 150 km west of Chongqing, will be equipped with a large imported boiler using clean combustion technology.
