Friends of the Earth has condemned what it calls the failed G8 policy on nuclear power plants in Central and Eastern Europe. Designed to coincide with this year's G8 summit in Trieste, Italy, beginning on 2 March, Friends of the Earth (FoE) has called on the organisation of the world's richest nations and Russia to face the issue of nuclear risk in Central and Eastern Europe.
