Environmentalists support Tony Blair's stand on the fuel crisis

Environmental groups have applauded Tony Blair's refusal to lower the tax on fuel during the crisis caused by lorry drivers' protests throughout the country.Pointing out that fossil fuels are one of the major causes of global climate change, Charles Secrett, Executive Director of Friends of the Earth (FoE), congratulated the Prime Minister for his tough stance.
