Coming down heavily on the various herbal tonics that have flooded the market today, Dr. Prakash Kothari said that though ayurveda is a very nice and ancient form of medicine, not all drugs sold in the market strictly adhere to the norms laid down by learned scholars like Charak in Charak Samhita, Shushrut in Shushrut Samhita and Vegbhatt in Ashtang Sangrah and Ashtanga Rhaday.
