Experts warn of junk food hazards

Too much of junk food and the products which use preservatives can be extremely harmful to health, medical experts warm following recent finding that these food items promote sulphur reducing bacteria that affected the guts and might lead to inflammatory bowel diseases.On the other hand, vegetarian diets are less prone to provoke such inflammatory conditions of the bowels, study suggests. A detailed study published in The New Scientist of August 8, has revealed that 96 per cent of the tested people suffering from colitis have a large concentration of sulphate reducing bacteria in their guts while only 50 per cent of the healthy prople have this bacteria.
