The Ghaziabad Development Authority unveiled its Master Plan 2021 on Saturday, which included a Delhi to Meerut expressway along National Highway (NH) 58 and a road linking NH-58 and NH-24 to decongest traffic on highways. Jointly prepared by the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) and the National Capital Region (NCR) Cell of Ghaziabad, the Plan also includes Loni and Muradnagar townships. GDA vice-chairman D P Singh called it 'revolutionary' and invited suggestions from the stakeholders. Chief co-ordinator, planning, NCR Cell, Ghaziabad, S K Zaman said the draft has been prepared with the help of a Hyderabad-based company.
