Farmers issue notices to IOC

Seven farmers of Mota Thavaria villager, near Jamnagar , have issued notices to Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in connection with payment of Rs 7.25 crore as compensation for loss of their farm land due to leakage in the IOC pipeline. The farmers claimed that as a result of the leakage from the Indian Oil corporation pipeline, their agricultural land has been rendered useless. It was also claimed in the notice that as many as 35 families were dependent on farming for a livelihood.
