The Supreme Court today fixed 18 August for the final hearing of appeals of the Karnataka Government and others challenging the judgement of the High Court issuing direction to the state government to register a first information report in the alleged kickbacks in the multinational Cogentrix Thermal Power Project in Karnataka.
