Fire tenders were fighting the flames at Uch gas field, believed to have recoverable gas reserves of more than 3.1 trillion cubic feet (TCF), near Sibi, Balochistan (Pakistan). According to report here on Monday, fire broke out in between two gas wells--7 and 8-on Sunday night. Wind storm at the gas field adversely affected nearby gas wells, all of which were switched off as precautionary and preventive measures.
