The first-ever election of people's representatives to a committee which will manage a 50-million-baht fund to help those affected by the lignite-fired Mae Moh power plant in Thailand, will be held on Sunday.Mae Moh district chief Phayon Suwansom said the May 28 election will allow local people affected by the emission of sulphur dioxide from the power plant, to pick their representatives to manage the fund.
