Financial institutions have proposed a further 6.2 per cent cut in Dabhol Power Company's tariff to Rs 3 per unit, which would bring the levy now down to almost 25 per cent from its first phase base level of Rs 3.97 per unit at a plant load factor of 90 per cent.
