The Tamil Nadu Fishworkers Union would take out a rally in Chennai on November 14 to protest the establishment of a nuclear power plant in Koodankulam near here. The union requested the Centre to abrogate the project as it was not "environmentally safe" and would displace many fishermen, farmers and palymrah workers.
