Of the 22 power projects that were approved by the government in the state, five have been dropped over the last two years. The total capacity of the projects that have been dropped is 955 MW. This is excluding the 500-MW Savli power project of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), which is likely to be officially dropped soon.
