For the men behind the wheels of buses in the Capital, life is not exactly a roller coaster drive. The extracts from a recent survey conducted by Iqbal Maliq on the health of the bus drivers of the Capital paints a very gloomy picture. The yet to be published report states that 84 per cent of these drivers suffer from headache, repeated coughs, asthma, eye infections, temporary deafness and skin allergies. Medical examinations have, the study says, revealed that most of them experience numbness in the lower part of the body at the end of the trip.
