The ministry of personnel and public grievances on Wednesday came out with "citizens' charters," containing relevant information of different sectors that have a large public interface in order to help the citizens in getting their works done properly in different government departments. The citizen's charters having the names and addresses of important contact persons in various departments like the railways, telecom, posts, pension, public distribution system, passport office, health and public sector banks will be made available to citizens through banks and post offices.
