The 'Samriti Van' and 'City Forest' schemes of Haryana Forest Department have started yielding results. The public parks, particularly in the HUDA sectors, are today greater and also the play-fields.Minister of Forests Jagdish Yadav has now devised a plan to involve the industry and the farm-house owners, around cities like Gurgaon and Faridabad to plant and protect "recommended" species of shrubs and trees in the factory and farm hose premises and also 'adopt' the panchayati land to develop 'Samriti Vans.'
