In a hush-hush move, the top brass of the UP State Electricity Board, has decided to close four important thermal power units. The unprecedented decision will further deepen the power crisis in the State. Interestingly, the board prefers to spent crores in importing power from the central sector instead of investing money in its units which have ceased to function.
