Growth in the world's top economies will moderate this us expansion buoyant, economists forecast in a Reuters poll. The quarterly survey of about 150 economists on the outlook for the Group of Seven industrialized nations showed they have trimmed growth forecasts for the United States, euro zone and Britain since April, but are more optimistic on Japan in 2006. US gross domestic product (GDP), adjusted by Reuters for international comparisons, was seen expanding 3.6 percent this year, down from the 3.8 percent forecast in the April survey. "We think that both the consumer and business sector look to be in healthy shape and we expect both to continue to spend at a reasonably robust pace throughout the end of the year,' said Dean Maki, chief U.S. economist at Barclays Capital in New York.
