Nasa's Galileo spacecraft will attempt its third and closest flyby of Jupiter's fiery moon Io on Tuesday. The spacecraft will dip to 200 kilometres above Io - the most volcanic body in the solar system. Galileo had gathered a wealth of pictures and other scientific information during previous flybys of Io in October and November of 1999.
