The menacing gush of gas from an oil well has once again thrown into focus the problem of pilferage at the ONGC oil fields in this area.Eight days have gone by since the leak began at Well No. 402 and a major fire has been averted, but no one is ruling out the possibility that the leak was set off by pilferers who were looking for crude oil.
