To take the administration closer to the doorsteps of the public, the Biswanath civil administration in Assam has launched a programme named Gaoloi Jaon Bolok (Let us visit the villages) on an experimental basis. Under this programme, heads of all development departments would interact with the villagers with an objective to create awareness about various schemes available and also apprise them of the schemes and programmes being implemented by various departments.
