Almost one thousand Chana district (Thailand) residents yesterday gathered to show their support for the Thai-Malay gas pipeline and refinery project, which they believe will bring prosperity to this southern province.More than 800 local leaders, fishermen, housewives and rubber planters gathered outside the district office and submitted open letters to the district chief and the provincial governor.
