The Andhra Pradesh power generation corporation limited (AP Genco) with a track record of excellent performance of its thermal power plants for many years has achieved the highest ever plant load factor (PLF) of 85.1 per cent during 2001-01. It stood first among all the power utilities in the country including the National thermal power corporation (NTPC).
