Global Investors Summit at Indore a milestone in state’s development

Commerce and Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya has said that Global Investors Summit to be held at Indore in October will prove to be a milestone in Madhya Pradesh’s development. Shri Vijayvargiya was reviewing preparations for the summit at Indore today. Shri Vijayvargiya took stock of major development works being carried out in Indore city. He directed that except BRTS, all other works as well as preparations for the summit should be completed till September 30. BRTS work should be completed before the summit. He also instructed to project SEZ, Crystal IT Park, Gems & Jewellery Park and other projects before investors in a planned manner. About 600 investors have given consent to participate in the summit. Information will be sent to them about lodging and other arrangements. This information will also be duly given to them. Shri Vijayvargiya informed that a programme has been chalked out to organise road shows in the country and abroad during next three months. Discussions will be held with Chief Executive Officers of various countries and Ambassadors of various countries at New Delhi on August 1. Later, road shows will be held at Coimbatore on August 24-15 and Ludhiana on August 31. Discussions will be held with investors of Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE and Oman in August and USA in September. Additional Chief Secretary Industries Shri P.K. Dash, commissioner, collector and senior officers were also present on the occasion.
