UN report : The following excerpt from the Trade and Development Report 2000 of UNCTAD released this week says "oil prices in the second half of year are expected to decline moderately and thus to average $24 a barrel for the year as a whole". Although that prediction so far is far from true, the report offers insights into what to expect in the medium term.
